We flew high above the jungle on our second day, and got a work out in. It was AWESOME! I know I keep saying that but yikes, this was. We got to see so much of the country on the bus ride up the mountain. Our tour guide was great. We was so friendly and told us so much about the community and the people in it. The company that does the tours sponsors 3 schools in the area and we got to see 2 of them.
We were told about the coffee bean production and how they are prepared for distribution. The people in the community pick them and put them out on cement slabs to dry and have to bring them in every night, and put back out in the morning.
After we got to the base camp sight and had our orientation we got strapped in. The harnesses were uncomfortable and the helmets made us look super gooberish but safety fist I guess.
We were ready to go, and it was a trek to the tower, and tons of stairs. This was not disclosed in the booking meeting with our guy at the hotel. haha
And AWAY WE GOOOOOO!!!!
